A quick clean of the toilet every 2-3 days or so will do the trick. That way, you’ll avoid having to tackle those dreaded deep cleans! Closing the lid after you flush will also help to maintain the shininess of the bowl. It’ll help keep the smell from spreading throughout the bathroom too. When it comes to cleaning the inside of the bowl, the baking soda cocktail paired with your vinegar mixture and a toilet brush does the job well for a quick clean. Firstly, getting into the habit of wiping down surfaces with a squeegee after every shower you take will really help to prevent any unwanted build-up. Also a nice trick – using soap or shower gel that has a neutral pH balance will reduce the damage done to your shower door, walls and curtain.

Using your homemade bathroom cleaning supply, spray down the tiles and wall areas that you’d like to clean, then switch on the shower and turn the heat up to full so that the bathroom begins to fill with steam. Close the door and let it run for 20 minutes. After this time is up, re-enter your homemade steam room and switch off the shower. Now all you need to do is gently wipe down the surfaces with a clean cloth and they’ll have a lovely, fresh sparkle!
